Big
“L” little “l” o-y-d.
Big Lloyd from the west.
Born
in Proctor, North Carolina on February 22, 1907 on the western
slopes of the Smokey Mountains.
He was one of six brothers and two sisters. He Married Mae Cantlin July 2, 1934 at Big Lake, Washington.
He was father of three sons and two daughters.
An honest and trustworthy workman, and fixer of all
things without peer; who had the respect and friendship of his
fellow workers. He
could make anything grow.
Wherever he lived the trees and shrubs and foods he
planted became beautiful focal points of God’s majesty.
Lloyd loved the Arizona desert and made it his place of
worship. He felt closest to God while climbing the hills and
traversing the valleys of the Southwest desert.
His wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, relatives and
friends will miss him deeply.
